Cologne – Imagination and creativity, “Ap-punti” on fabric by Virginia Franceschi

Salerno-born Virginia Franceschi is a multi-faceted artist who uses simple materials to create works of formal beauty and elegance. She currently has a solo exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute of Cologne (through 6 November) entitled “Ap-punti su stoffa”. The works use one of the most ancient supports that exist – fabric, on which she weaves, sews and embroiders, exploring the most topical of themes and forms. Read more, in Italian
