Argentina – Focus on science for conservation of cultural heritage

A conference entitled “Science and innovation for the study and conservation of cultural treasures” will take place in Buenos Aires on 1 and 2 December at the Universidad Nacional de San Martin. The initiative, organised by the Embassy of Italy in Argentina in collaboration with the local university and the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires, will offer a showcase for Italian excellence in the field of conservation, both from the standpoint of scientific research as well as of technological innovation, promoting Italo-Latin American collaboration in this major scientific/cultural sector. The event follows on from an international meeting on preventive conservation in museums, archives and libraries held in Buenos Aires from 16 to 20 March 2015. Read more, in Italian
