Economic cooperation between Italy and Japan is growing and the two countries are studying the opportunities for further collaboration in strategic sectors. The point was underscored at the 27th general meeting of the Italy-Japan Business Group (IJBG), which took place recently in Sendai. Italy was represented by the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Benedetto Della Vedova, and Mauro Moretti, the new co-chair of the IJBG. The next meeting of the IJBG will take place in Italy in 2016, the year of the 150th anniversary of Italian-Japanese bilateral relations. Read more, in Italian.
