“Italian – Serbian Cooperation on Science, Technology and Humanities” is the title of the third e-book in the “Serbia-Italy” series, published by the Italian embassy in Belgrade, the Association of Italian and Serbian Scientists and Scholars (AIS3) and the University of Belgrade. The book presents the results of projects performed under the Executive Protocol on bilateral scientific and technological cooperation for the period 2013-2015 and the main scientific and technological cooperation projects underway between the two Countries. It also offers an updated overview of the vast body of existing academic and research cooperation efforts between the two countries, helping to identify the most promising areas and to highlight the opportunities for further development that could follow. The Protocol was renewed for another three years (2016-2018) last November, as part of the initiatives promoted for the “Month of Scientific Cooperation between Italy and Serbia”. The agreement was signed by Italian ambassador in Belgrade, Giuseppe Manzo, and Serbian Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Srdjan Verbic. Under the protocol, bilateral researcher mobility grants will be provided to researchers from the two countries involved in the 10 selected projects and Italy will co-finance seven major programmes.
