“Diplomazia e dintorni” – American diplomats in Rome

The 59th episode of the “Diplomazia e dintorni” programme will be broadcast on Tuesday, May 3, at 8 p.m. by Radio LUISS, under the title “American diplomats in Rome”. It will continue the debate focussing on what it means to be a foreign diplomat – especially a U.S. diplomat- in the capital of Italy. Italy and the United States have always enjoyed close ties. The United States Embassy in Rome carries out many interesting activities. Brian Commaroto and Michael Benton will be the special guests of the programme. As well as being U.S. diplomats in Italy, they have a background in Italian public administration in the context of the “Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellowship” programme. During the episode, they will expand and provide insight into how a large embassy in Italy is organised.
