The exhibition “Comics, que paixão! Os quadrinhos italianos, de 1950 até hoje”, spanning from Hugo Pratt and Milo Manara to Guido Crepax and Dino Battaglia, was opened in Sao Paulo on Tuesday, 5 July, and will run until Sunday, 14 August. It is a journey through Italian comics from 1950 to date, paying tribute to the most prestigious Italian cartoonists who left their mark in the history of the art of “drawn literatures”.
The exhibition “Comics, que paixão! Os quadrinhos italianos, de 1950 até hoje”, curated by art historian Maurizio Scudiero, will inform and acquaint visitors with the most famous popular characters created by the greatest Italian cartoonists. The exhibition is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute and hosted in its Sao Paulo offices (Rua Vergueiro, 1000).
