Seoul is to host “No East, No West”, a photography exhibition by Italian artist Davide Bramante. The exhibition, co-hosted by the Korea Foundation and the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Seoul, runs until 28 August. It features a set of highly evocative photographs Bramante shot in unique sites across the world, from Seoul and Busan in Korea to Milan, New York, Rome, Florence, and Hong Kong. His multiple exposure technique produces powerful images that include seemingly mobile objects, in addition to works measuring more than two metres across.
“My way of taking photographs is identical to how I remember, think, dream, hope. Everything happens by juxtaposing time and space,” he said.
