Italian songs are a great “conveyor of culture” (Tullio De Mauro) which have contributed to securing in people’s memories moments of Italy’s history but also to shaping the imagination and profile of Italy in the world, just like fashion and design. Through a series of videos, photographs and readings and the live performances of Italian songs, the Black Box Hall of the University of Tirana will celebrate the value and uniqueness of Made-in-Italy products, symbolising passion, elegance, attention for detail and creativity. The event, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana in conjunction with the Education Bureau of the Italian Embassy, will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, 7 October. The concert-event is part of the initiatives organised for the 16th Week of Italian Language in the World.
