Slovakia – “Viva Italia!” ends with a concert

The exhibition, “Viva Italia! Italian Art of the 20th and 21st centuries,” sponsored by Slovak Minister of Culture, Marek Madaric, and  Mayor of Bratislava, Ivo Nesrovnal, is about to end after running for  three months in the prestigious Civic Gallery in  Bratislava.  A musical finissage by clarinetist Nicola Sulfonet, composer Davide Pitis, and performer Paolo Albani will take place this evening to celebrate the exhibition. “Viva Italia!”,  showcasing 60 years of Italian art, featured for the first time in Slovakia the most important works by 98 nationally and internationally acclaimed artists such as Sandro Chia, Enzo Cucchi, Mimmo Paladino, Alighiero Boetti, Enrico Baj, Franco Angeli, Mario Schifano, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Mimmo Rotella, Emilio Isgrò, Vincenzo Agnetti, Guglielmo Achille Cavellini, Zoran Mušič, Giuseppe Spagnulo, Franco Vaccari, Roberto Crippa, Nanni Balestrini, Eugenio Miccini and many more. The exhibition and the concert  were organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava and the Carlo Palli Archive of Prato with the collaboration of the Italian Embassy in Bratislava and the Civic Gallery.
