On Friday, July 10, the Italian Cultural Institute in Copenhagen hosted the musical performance “Vissi d’arte – A Journey in the Opera,” an event organized in collaboration with Filrō Opera Production.

The evening’s stars were soprano Ginevra Martalò and director and baritone Filippo Rotondo, who brought to the stage an immersive opera blending music, theatre, and storytelling.

Through famous arias by Puccini, Verdi, Rossini, Cilea, Mozart, Giordani, and Ponchielli, the performance recounted the personal and artistic journey of a great diva, retracing her dreams, successes, sacrifices, and fragilities.

The stage presence, costumes, and direct involvement of the audience made the experience particularly intense, providing a unique tribute to the great tradition of Italian melodrama.

The event boasted a great attendance and was an important opportunity to promote Italian musical and operatic culture in Denmark.
