Thursday 8 September, at 6:30 p.m., is the opening night of Italian photographer Pier Alberto Cucino’s photographic exhibition “Roma-Caracas, semejanzas magicas” at the Italian Cultural Institute of Caracas, where around 70 photographs present the different “souls” of Rome and Caracas. The exhibition is open to visitors until 8 October 2016. The Italian photographer has used different styles to enhance the chromatic similarities of the two cities using techniques like lomographic convergence, details tout court and oil photography.
During the exhibition, various cultural activities dedicated to the Eternal City will be held at the Italian Cultural Institute of Caracas, in particular a cycle of films every Wednesday in September and the Conference “Roma: La ciudad de las calles que se bifurcan” (José Luis Borges).
