By its very nature, design is the meeting point between Italy’s world of art and industry, which found in creativity the very peak of their expression, as is proven by the recent exhibition held at the 21st Triennale di Milano, the global icon of design. The Italian Cultural Institute in Lima, in celebrating the 16th Week of Italian Language in the World, and with a view to presenting to the public some of the best examples of Italian industrial design, set up an exhibition displaying several interesting decoration objects and items, alongside one of the most iconic symbols of Italian design ever: the Vespa. The selection of objects displayed were by Hilite, Spazio e Stile and Lima Modern which, with their high-quality products, testify to the qualitative excellence of Italian production in Lima.
