Tokyo – Enrico Rava on tour in Japan: first stop the IIC

“Enrico Rava and Japanese Friends”, is the name of Enrico Rava’s Japanese tour that starts on 15th December at the Institute of Culture in Tokyo and continues on the 16th in Fukuoka, the 17th at the Garaman Hall in Okinawa and the 18th at the Knowledge in Osaka.
Accompanied for the first time by an entirely Japanese band, consisting of pianist Makiko Hirabayashi, double-bass player Seigo Matsunata and drummer Yoshigaki Yasuhiro, Rava will perform a repertoire consisting entirely of his own compositions. Enrico Rava’s Japanese tour is part of the celebrations for the 150th Anniversary of relations between Japan and Italy and is produced and organised by New Age Productions.
