The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Bogotá announces that the twelfth Hay Festival in Cartagena de Indias, taking place from 26 to 29 January, will also be attended by Italian author Iacopo Barison. Major literary figures including Mario Vargas Llosa (Nobel Prize Laureate for Literature 2010), Simon Sebag Montefiore, Andrea Wulf, Hisham Matar, Phil Manzanera, Carmen Aristegui, Fernando Aramburu, Joel Dicker, Henry Marsh, James Rhodes, Liniers, Leonardo Padura, Maylis de Kerangal, Ana Maria Machado and many more, will participate in the event. In addition to Cartagena, the Hay Festival will have events taking place also in Riohacha and Medellin.
