“Botticelli. Inferno” is the title of Ralph Loop’s docufilm which will be screened from 16 to 19 February at the Cine Colombia in Bogota, thanks to the sponsorship of the Italian Cultural Institute in the Colombian capital. The documentary is a journey across the mysteries of Dante’s Inferno through Ralph Loop’s high-definition scans of 102 Botticelli drawings on themes drawn from the Divine Comedy.
“Botticelli. Inferno” is a concentrate of Italian culture in 35mm, and reveals some of the secrets of two of the most prominent Florentine masters.
