Argentina – Dante’s Purgatory at the IIC in Buenos Aires

The Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Buenos Aires, on Thursday 9 March, will host a ‘Lectura Dantis’ in Italian by Claudia Fernandez, professor of Italian Language at the University of Buenos Aires and of Italian Medieval Literature at the Instituto Superior del Profesorado Joaquín V. González. The reading will be dedicated to the Purgatory as the “realm-in-progress”, to the other two canticles of the Divine Comedy and to the innovations that Dante introduced to tradition. The reading is organised by the Jockey Club Argentino la Lectura and will be held at the IIC’s Salone Benedetto Croce.
