Minister Alfano on mission to Tripoli

“Italy reaffirms with determination its support to an inclusive dialogue and reconciliation process, which is the only possible way to stabilize and consolidate the Country and its institutions,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Internaitonal Cooperation during his mission to Tripoli on Saturday, 6 may. Accompanied by the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Perrone, Minister Alfano had meetings with his counterpart Mohamed Siyala, the Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Maiting, the Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, and the President of the High Council of State, Abdulrahmann Swehli. Lastly, Minister Alfano met the personnel of the Italian Embassy in Tripoli (the only European Embassy operating in the Country).
