The cycle of film screenings continues at the Italian Cultural Institute in Guatemala City with the showing of Michael Radford’s “The Postman” starring Massimo Troisi, on Monday, 10 July, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Mario is a simple man who accepts the job of postman. His job however is to deliver the mail to only one person, Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, who lives in exile in a little Italian town. Mario is greatly fascinated by the figure of Neruda and the two men will give life to a profound friendship.
