Surprising Peru, on show photographs by Ezio Macchione

After opening last week, the photographic exhibition “Surprising Peru” hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in Lima will run until 12 August. It is a unique look on a marvellous country through the photographic lens of Italian photographer Ezio Macchione. The collection of images of “Surprising Peru” displayed in the Institute’s Antonio Raimondi Hall are a tribute to the beautiful Country and its thousand faces. It is the homage paid by a foreign photographer who is in love with this land that, over the years, has become his second homeland, to the point that in 2015 Macchione printed “El desierto costero de Ica”, his first photography book dedicated to Peru, whose photographs have already been displayed in several exhibitions in Europe and are included in the catalogue of the Canadian Agency “Grizzly”. Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
