The Italian Cultural Institute in Lima will open the exhibition “Orbitales” by Italian artist Alex Caminiti at 7 p.m. on Thursday, 24 August at the Galleria Mario Sironi. After a one-month stay in Peru, where he absorbed the local art and culture, the prolific artist now presents the work that he conceived and produced in Lima, the capital of Peru. In his work, which is prevalently made up of paintings and sculptures because “these artistic forms pivot around the creativity of form in every single step of its creation”, Caminiti conveys the feeling of a visual essence that is apparently chaotic but structurally linked to an ironic and colourful vision of life.
