Bahrain Country Presentation, Rome 13 October 2017
Bahrain will be the focus of a Country Presentation on 13 October in Rome at the headquarters of Confindustria, the Italian Employers’ Federation. Thanks to the economic diversification policy implemented successfully since the late 1960s, the country offers a unique economic environment for the region, making it an ideal platform to serve the Gulf Common Market (GCM), and in particular the Saudi market.
The event, organised by Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterraneo in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Manama, features presentations by Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Zayed Al Zayani, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the government’s foreign investment agency – and representatives of the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund along with a number of Bahraini companies interested in B2B meetings with Italian companies already operating or wishing to operate in the Gulf.
