Italy will be present with one pavilion and two stands at “Study in Europe Jordan 2017”, the show organised by the EU Delegation in Amman to orient Jordanian students interested in attending university in Europe.
During the two-day event scheduled on 10 and 11 October at the Hotel Le Meridien in Amman, teachers, higher education professionals and secondary school students exchanged and acquired first-hand information and indications on the possibility of continuing their studies in one of the 14 EU Countries represented at the event. The European Union is also present with a large InfoPoint on the Erasmus+ Programme.
The space dedicated to our Country, organised by the Italian Embassy in conjunction with the Dante Alighieri Society Committee in Amman and the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) of Milan, attracted a large number of visitors. Youngsters and teachers received targeted information and informative material on the possibility of studying in Italy, attending courses either in Italian or in English. The second day of the event scheduled a number of networked meetings and sessions between institutions that provided more detailed information.
Italy and Jordan are discussing the renewal of the inter-university cooperation agreement aimed at facilitating exchanges and offering new study opportunities in the two Countries, in addition to promoting the teaching of the Italian language in Jordan, which is the preliminary step to enabling local students to attend our universities.
