​Italian 2.0: how the Net is changing the way we read and write

The Italian Cultural Institute in Zurich hosted a lecture on 18 October, to mark the 18th Week of the Italian Language in the World.
 
Prof. Massimo Palermo of the University for Foreigners of Siena, delivered a lecture entitled “Italiano 2.0: come la rete sta cambiando il nostro modo di leggere e scrivere i testi” which focused on the way new technologies and the “multimedia paradigm” are changing and have already changed  the way we relate to our language. The discussion also highlighted how these factors have re-oriented our approach, expectations and opinions.
