The Italian Cultural Institute in Paris has set up a rich programme of events to celebrate the 18th Week of the Italian Language in the world.
The event organized on 15 October and entitled “Parlare, scrivere, inventare: la lingua italiana tra YouTube e letteratura” (Speaking, writing, inventing: the Italian language between YouTube and Literature) zeroed in on the 18th Week’s main theme.
Sofia Viscardi was among the speakers of the event. Just turned 20, Sofia is a very famous youtuber with thousands of followers and two books published by Mondadori. Along with communication experts and Italian language teachers she tried to analyse the way the Network is impacting the evolution of the Italian language and where it may potentially meet literature.
