The Italian Culture and Community Center in Houston is scheduled to host the screening of Gabriele Salvatores’ documentary film “Italy in a Day” (2014) on 25 October. The film is a puzzle of small pieces of daily life in Italy filmed by ordinary people with their own smartphones.
The documentary film offers a cross-section of a day in the life of an ordinary Italian. It also helps reflecting on the way Italians express themselves and how the Italian language is evolving – from its most common expressions to adopted terms.
