Economic cooperation between Italy and Slovenia
The Italian Trade Agency (ICE) will hold a forum on economic cooperation between Italy and Slovenia in the Pirelli Hall at its offices in Via Liszt 21, Rome on 14 February next. Presentations will be made on investment opportunities in the field of tourist infrastructures and the financial sector (equity paparticipation in projects regarding the privatisation of Slovenian public companies), and innovation. Specifically opportunities for scientific cooperation in the aerospace industry, Factories of the Future, Smart Cities and the Circular Economy will be discussed. Since 2017 Slovenia has recorded constant GDP growth ( 4.9% in 2017, with an estimate of 4.5% for 2018 and 3.7% in 2019) and an increase in trade with Italy (17.7% in 2017 and 10.9% in the first half of 2018). Italian companies participating in the forum will be able to find out more about interesting investment opportunities, the potential for industrial and scientific cooperation and the launching of bilateral partnerships.
