Budapest hosts Italian artists at “Fare Cinema” festival

Pasquale Catalano, an Italian film score composer, film director Pippo Mezzapesa and director and movie critic Mario Sesti, are scheduled to attend the Italian film festival ‘Fare Cinema’, now at its second edition, which Budapest is hosting until 28 May.

The festival, which was launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and curated by the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest, seeks to promote Italian filmmaking through the diplomatic and consular network.

The first event of the Hungarian festival featured a lecture by Italian film director Pippo Mezzapesa addressed to the students of Budapest’s University of Theatre and Film Arts.
