Today the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is on a mission to Tunis, together with the Minister of the Interior, Luciana Lamorgese, and the European Commissioners for Internal Affairs, Ylva Johansson, and for Neighbourhood Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.
The Ministers and Commissioners are having an audience with the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, and a meeting with the designated Head of Government and Minister of the Interior, Hichem Mechichi, and the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, Selma Ennaifer. At the end of the meeting, they will go to the Bardo National Museum to lay a wreath in memory of the victims of the attack of 18th March 2015.
