Luigi Di Maio, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has returned to Rome with many commitments. Following the two days of work at the G7 Foreign and Development Ministers’ Meeting – which met in London to discuss crisis scenarios and post-COVID recovery – the Minister will be having the first of three bilateral meetings with his Palestinian counterpart, Riad Malki.
Subsequently Minister Di Maio will be meeting the Minister for the Malian Diaspora and African Integration, Al Hamdou Ag Ilène. This follows Di Maio’s visit to Bamako last month and will be a further significant step for strengthening relations between Italy and the Sahel region.
Minister Di Maio will also receive the Slovak Foreign Minister, Ivan Korčok, for an exchange of views on the most important European and international issues.
