COLOMBIA – ITALIAN-SPANISH CONSORTIUM, WHICH INCLUDES ITALFERR S.P.A. AND METROPOLITANA MILANESE S.P.A., HAVE BEEN AWARDED THE CONTRACT FOR THE SUPERVISION OF THE UNDERGROUND WORKS IN BOGOTÁ
The contract for the supervision of the construction work on the first line of the Bogota underground was signed. The contract, with a score of 91.62, was won by the Italian-Spanish consortium “Consorcio Supervisor PLMB”, composed of the following companies: Ayesa Mexico S.A. de C.V. (25%), Ayesa Ingenieria y Arquitectura Sau Sucursal Colombia (15%), MAB Ingenieria de Valor (20%), MM S.p.A. Metropolitana Milanese (15%) and Italferr S.p.A. (25%).
The contract, worth approximately 50 million euros, will have a duration of 11 years during which the consortium will supervise the works and verify the fulfilment of contractual obligations on the investment of the initial project, as well as technical tests.
