On 10 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, spoke at the meeting “Towards the Conference on the Future of Europe” held at the Senate. The Minister stated that the Conference shall be an opportunity for all participants to exchange views, develop a better understanding and share projects to build a European Union that is closer to its citizens. Mr. Di Maio also stressed how inclusion and representativeness are necessary for the common future of Europe beyond the pandemic.
