CROATIA – “GO GLOBAL GO VIRTUAL” INITIATIVE.
The “Italy and Croatia Go Global – Go Virtual” event was recently held on the same-named virtual platform of the Croatian National Chamber of Economy (HGK), organised by the ICE-Agency’s Zagreb Office and HGK. The “Go Global – Go Virtual” platform was developed by HGK as a response to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions on travel and the possibility of holding face-to-face meetings. According to data released by HGK, “Italy and Croatia Go Global – Go Virtual” registered the highest number of business participations and generated the most interest among all the events previously organised with other countries. A total of 826 businesses participated in the initiative, of which 486 Croatian and 340 Italian. Furthermore, about 52,000 views of company profiles were recorded and over 2,000 contact requests were received from Italian companies. The sectors that aroused the most interest were: agro-industry, machinery and engineering, ICT, cosmetics, electronics and healthcare.
