The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, participated in Festival delle Città 2021, an event organised by ALI (the Italian Local Authorities). During this third edition of the event, entitled “L’Italia veloce” (“Fast Italy”), the Minister said that under the co-presidency of Italy and the United Kingdom, and the Italian Presidency of the G20, the model of smart, resilient, and sustainable cities is at the top of the agenda of COP26. Finally, the objective of reducing territorial gaps was reaffirmed as a priority of the Italian PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).
