The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, met the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, on the sidelines of the OECD ministerial meeting. The talks centred on a broad discussion concerning Afghanistan, also in view of the extraordinary G20 summit, in view of the necessary coordination among the international players and of responding to the humanitarian emergency. Also on the agenda, the close bilateral cooperation in stabilising the situation in Libya, as well as in Africa and the Sahel, in the G20 forum and the Anti-Daesh Coalition.
