At the 5th edition of the Festival of Religions in Florence, Minister Di Maio joined the journalist Paolo Mieli and Agnese Pini, Editor of “La Nazione” newspaper, for a panel discussion on “the prospects for peace in the Middle East” that took place in the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte.
The Festival of Religions develops an intercultural dialogue around the religions, including believers of all faiths and atheists, and enriching every viewpoint. The title of this year’s edition, “Felici e Scontenti” [“Contented and Discontented”], is an invitation to reflect and debate on one of the most ancient and complex questions of Western civilisation: the relationship between material well-being and spiritual well-being.
