The 10th Steering Committee for Business Internationalisation, co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, and the Minister for Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, will meet today from 15:00 onwards.
Every year, the Steering Committee defines the guidelines and strategic policies, including the planning of resources, for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of the Italian business system.
Today’s meeting will be attended – as rightful members of the Steering Committee – by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, the Minister of Tourism, Massimo Garavaglia, the Chef de Cabinet of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Policies, Francesco Fortuna, the President of the Conference of Regions, Massimiliano Fedriga, the President of Unioncamere, Andrea Prete, the Vice-President of Confindustria, Barbara Beltrame, the Vice-President of ABI, Guido Rosa, and the Co-President of the Alliance of Italian Cooperative Companies, Maurizio Gardini.
Also present, as invited guests, will be the Minister for Technology Innovation and Digital Transition, Vittorio Colao, the Minister for Universities and Scientific Research, Maria Cristina Messa, the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion, Maria Rosaria Carfagna, the Deputy Minister for Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility, Teresa Bellanova, and the Undersecretary at the Ministry for Ecological Transition, Vannia Gava.
This will be followed by speeches by the main public support bodies for business internationalisation and by the signatories of the Pact for Export.
