Mission by Minister Luigi Di Maio to Algeria

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, is on a mission to Algiers.

The Minister met with his Algerian counterpart, Ramtane Lamamra, and the Minister of Energy and Mining, Mohamed Arkab. On the agenda, the strengthening of the bilateral partnership between Italy and Algeria in the energy supply sector to meet the European energy security needs in light of the aggression in Ukraine.
