Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, is opening the FAO Leadership Dialogue event “Healthy and Protected Oceans for a Sustainable, Equal & Prosperous Future”.
The initiative, which features speeches by UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed and Deputy Prime Minister of Samoa Fiamē Naomi Mata ʻafa, is part of the UN Food Systems Summit.
The Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Maurizio Massari, has been entrusted with an introductory speech, while the Italian Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, and the Italian Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, will participate in specific panels.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Edmondo Cirielli, will close the event.
