The German-Italian centre for European Dialogue Villa Vigoni presents a new intercultural political project, aimed to promote youth participation in the European elections.
Villa Vigoni issued the “German-Italian Young Voices active in the electoral campaign for the European Parliament” call for applications seeking for young applicants aged from 18 to 30 from Italy and Germany to develop a campaign for the 2024 European elections. The call is intended to raise awareness among young people about the activities and responsibilities of the European Union, as well as to give visibility to the ideas and requests related to a common future of European growth. On the one hand, the call aims at stimulating the youth interest in European politics, while, on the other hand, at promoting the public debate in this regard.
The project, funded by Erasmus+, comes in a hybrid form, with regular online activities and four events in presence.Applicants will be given the chance to actively commit in European politics, gain experience in public relations, and establish intercultural contacts while practising foreign languages.
