The call for the 2024-2026 “Trilateral Research Conferences” programme promoted in the field of humanities and social sciences by Villa Vigoni – German-Italian Centre for the European Dialogue, in cooperation with Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (FMSH) is now open.
The trilateral programme aims to bring together networks of researchers from Italy, France and Germany, also in order to support the use of Italian, German and French as scientific languages. Humanities and social sciences are in fact inextricably linked to culture and language, which are both the object and medium of research. Multilingualism is thus the fundamental principle of the programme.
Each trilateral conference consists of three meetings that take place annually at Villa Vigoni in Loveno di Menaggio on Lake Como.
Young researchers are encouraged to participate. Those who have obtained their PhD no more than 6 years ago may apply in a simplified form.
The deadline to apply for the programme is 30 April 2023.
