The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will speak today at the opening session of the Conference of Italian Ambassadors in the world.
A meeting to discuss Italy’s international action, the event will see the participation of more than 130 heads of Italian diplomatic missions throughout the world, as well as many Government Ministers and foreign leaders, including the EU Commissioner for Climate Action, Wopke Hoekstra, the British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Cameron, and the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken (via videomessage).
The Conference, realised with the media partnership of RAI and ANSA, will provide an opportunity to reflect on the role and tools available to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to support the promotion of our national interest in the world and the value of dialogue, also in view of the Italian G7 Presidency in 2024.
