On the occasion of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the “Friends of the Western Balkans” group and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkans, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will hold a press conference at 4:00 p.m. at the Farnesina.
The ministerial meeting, attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member countries of the “Friends of the Western Balkans” group and those of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, aims at strengthening coordination on the objectives and priorities to be pursued in 2024 with regard to the European integration of the Balkan region.
Established in June 2023, the “Friends of the Western Balkans” group brings together Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Greece and Slovenia with the aim of keeping the EU’s attention on the region high and promoting an acceleration of the integration process.
