In the presence of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, and the President of ISPI, Franco Bruni, open the 10th edition of the MED Mediterranean Dialogues Conference.
The Mediterranean Dialogues are the main public diplomacy initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year’s edition is held in conjunction with the G7 of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, hosted by the Italian government. Launched ten years ago by ISPI and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Rome MED has become the point of reference for discussing the strategic issues of an enlarged Mediterranean and fostering an open, informal high-level debate with institutional representatives, experts, analysts, young people, and representatives of civil society, the economy and the media.
