Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani met today at the Farnesina with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on the occasion of his official visit to Italy.
The meeting focused on the main issues on the international agenda, starting with the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as global and regional security challenges.
Today’s meeting reaffirmed the strength of transatlantic relations and the shared commitment to working together for peace, growth and international stability.
Minister Tajani reiterated Italy’s full support for diplomacy as the only viable path to prevent further escalation in the Middle East and to ensure freedom of international navigation.
