During their meeting Minister Terzi and the Members of Parliament discussed European issues, both bilateral relations and the outlook for expansion, and the Union’s political and economic integration process.
Current issues on the international agenda were also discussed. So too were Italy’s foreign policy priorities, most notably support for the consolidation of the institutions in the countries of the Mediterranean, including Libya and Egypt, and the prospects for the Middle East peace process.
