The initiative destination Italy, launched today by the Prime Minister, is a decided leap in quality for economic diplomacy”, stated Foreign Minister Emma Bonino.
“The objective, in which I will be directly engaged in close connection with Minister Zanonato”, the minister continued, “is to make Italy an attractive country for major international investors. It is an ambitious goal, and one we are expecting to reach by implementing more adequate operational instruments”.
“We’ll begin immediately”, Bonino said, “by creating a highly streamlined task force that will have the task of quickly establishing a rapport among all actors – social, territorial and potential investors – who have a key role in attracting foreign investments”.
