Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini sent a letter of condolences to her counterpart Didier Reynders after today’s attack at the Jewish museum in Brussels.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the brutal attack at the Jewish museum in Brussels, and of the victims and wounded it left. This is a tragic attack against the Jewish community that re-evokes the spectre of anti-Semitism, which we must oppose with the most absolute resolution”, the minister asserted.
Mogherini offered her warmest sympathies to the families of the victims along with her sincere solidarity with her colleague, ensuring Italy’s common commitment to counteract intolerance in all its forms.
