Prospects for the Iranian nuclear talks were the focus of Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini’s meeting today with Russian Federation Deputy Foreign Minister and negotiator Sergey Ryabkov in the margins of the “Global Zero Conference on a Middle East WMD Free Zone” in Rome.Mogherini assured Ryabkov of the Italian government’s support for the P5+1 talks with Iran led by HR Catherine Ashton, and for those between Teheran and the IAEA.
Minister Mogherini will have an opportunity for encounter also tomorrow morning at the foreign ministry in Rome with Iranian Deputy Foreign Ministers Seyed Abbas Araqchiand Majid Takht Ravanchi.
