MidEast: Mogherini speaks with Blair and Hammond

Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini discussed the situation in the Middle East today with Tony Blair and British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond. Mogherini spoke by telephone with the Middle East Quartet envoy about his recent tour of the region.


With Hammond, who is about to leave for Israel, the minister held a bilateral meeting in the margins of the EU-ASEAN ministerial meeting in Brussels, discussing the dramatic developments in Israel and Gaza also with him.
