Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini expressed her condolences on the death of Lithuanian honorary consul in Ukraine in a letter to her colleague in Lithuania, Linas Linkevičius: “I was profoundly aggrieved at the news of the death of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine”, Mogherini wrote. “In condemning this act of violence, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you and to your country, and my personal solidarity to the consul’s family”.
